Maybe someone will a fair amount of spare time and a love for indie film will write an essay on movies such as Celeste and Jesse Forever and this star-laced comedy -- two films featuring a handful of our favorite performers that lack for humor and leave an unpleasant aftertaste. In the case of Bachelorette, a promising start results in an unwelcome, shrill, alienating finish. I think the Bridesmaids-inspired comedy officially ends here.

Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan star in this comedy about three dysfunctional friends who attempt to leave the past behind while serving as bridesmaids at the wedding of a girl they mocked mercilessly back in high school. As teenagers, Regan (Dunst), Gena (Caplan) and Katie (Fisher) used to call Becky (Rebel Wilson) Pig Face. A few years later, Becky is about to tie the knot, and calls on her taunting former classmates to join the wedding party.

And though Regan is determined to give Becky a bachelorette bash she'll never forget, tart-tongued Gena has already started partying hard well before the big night, and capricious Katie seems to have her head stuck in the clouds. Later, as the ladies cut loose and the booze begins to flow, a mishap with the wedding dress sends the entire event spiraling out of control, leading to a wild night of debauchery that neither the bride nor her bridesmaids will ever forget.

Co-directors Chris Butler and Sam Fell and their production/effects company Laika Entertainment created Corpse Bride and Coraline, examples of how animation works best when its source material is dark and creepy. Focus Features doesn't release many animated films - and their last outing brought us the thoroughly underwhelming 9 -- but it looks like they have another original here with a premise that's much more universal than a post-apolocalyptic rag doll in a Terminator-like scenario.

Looks like a cool family movie to me, and writer-wise, you could do a lot worse in the curiosity department than the tag team of Peter Hedges (Dan in Real Life, What's Eating Gilbert Grape) and avant-rock scion Ahmet Zappa. Loving the glasses of wine consumed by Garner and Edgerton as they put their dreams in a box; meanwhile, doesn't this seem like a better premise for a mystery TV series?

After a stormy night, an 11-year-old arrives at their doorstep, claiming the Greens as his own. Soon they realize that the child, named Timothy, is far more special than they originally though.

Story Line :

Hope Springs (2012) is a great movie. we hope that we will see  "Hope Springs" it.  "I look at the school, and anyone who tells you they don't is lying to you," says producerTodd Black, who helped cast the Meryl Streep film Hope Springs.
Kay and Arnold are a devoted couple, but decades of marriage have left Kay wanting to spice things up and reconnect with her husband. When she hears of a renowned couple's specialist in the small town of Great Hope Springs

Hope Springs is an upcoming 2012 American romantic comedy directed by David Frankel, and stars Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones and Steve Carell. After 30 years of marriage, Kay and Arnold Soames attend intense marriage counseling from Dr. Bernie Fields.

After thirty years of marriage, a middle-aged couple attends an intense, week-long counseling session to work on their relationship.
What I'm most looking forward to here is Meryl Streep's stripped down performance -- no accents, no historical flashbacks, no ABBA songs, just her grinding out matrimonial issues with hubby Tommy Lee Jones and therapist Steve Carell. Knowing that Mike Nichols was originally set to direct with Jeff Bridges playing opposite Streep (and Philip Seymour Hoffman playing their shrink), however, makes me wonder if the overall tone of the script has changed substantially.

Well, we lost Mickey Rourke but we gained full fledged roles for Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who left politics behind (and California nearly crumbling into the ocean) for a return to starring roles. With Jean-Claude Van Damme shaping up to be the chief villain, I can honestly say I hope he takes out a principal cast member or two before his ultimate showdown with Sly. And really the big winner here is Simon West, who replaces Stallone in the director's chair and finally gets to be in on all the jokes made about him.
